The Historical Bowden Bridge

A beautiful 3-arch bowstring bridge near Borden, Saskatchewan.

Now closed to vehicular traffic, many come to fish or simply enjoy the walk across this handsome historical rainbow arch bridge.

For the first time ever I was able to just enjoy it with no snow on the ground. Yay!

  1. I always enjoy looking at it as I drive by going east.

  2. No traffic allowed? To bad, it looks like a sturdy structure.

  3. One of my favourite arch bridges. As an added attraction, when driving across the adjacent bridge from west to east, look to your left and up the hill on the east side of the river. The white buffalo is constructed of rebar and has been there for 30 years or so. I don't seem to be able to add a picture.
