If you want a happy ending create your own.
Home. I am home for the first time since the morning of February 16. Quite the rude interruption to my life. I am going to dwell on the positives and there are many.
I will have to continue to pick up the pieces and put my life back together somehow. It will not be the same. Somehow I will endeavour for it to be better.
For now I am going to take a moment and have a glass of wine or three.
Good to have you back Home!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Lots of good times ahead of you, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I imagine it will take you a bit of time to change your daily routines from the medical facilities to a home environment again. It’s been a long, hard road to recovery. There will still be work ahead for you as you continue to heal and adjust to your own schedule. Please don’t forget that you have a lot of people continuing to think of you and pray for your daily progress. We wish you well and look forward to hearing about your progress.
ReplyDeleteThis will not be fun. It is good to be back in my own home.
DeleteWELCOME HOME my friend.
ReplyDeletePrayers answered. Thank you, Lord.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteCongrats, BW! Enjoy your celebratory drink and have a wonderful night's sleep in your own bed! Good news indeed.

Great news! Just great!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. So happy for you. You’ve had a hell of a year so far…
ReplyDeleteOh my - what great news!!!! You will have an adjustment to deal with but it has to be such a relief to have your own things around you. Hopefully they sent you home with adequate assistance as you make the transition. In the meantime, enjoy that glass (or more!) of wine.
ReplyDeleteFantastic news!

Awesome news. Have you got Home Care coming in for a few days to sort things out?
ReplyDeleteSort of. I am managing with the help of a friend for now.
DeleteGlad to hear you are out…now the fun begins
ReplyDeleteWooHoo! I'm glad you're back home. I get it felt so good, yet sort of odd not hearing the hospital/rehab center background noise. I bet that wine tasted wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you are home! I imagine finding a new routine is challenging! Praying you are finding your groove... Congratulations!
