One month in the hospital so far

New wrist cast today.

Typing is arduous.

Had an infection that was dealt with. Temperature spiked four degrees a few days ago.

I have had diet restrictions removed.

Physio has been working on me. I can barely move my legs. I may be here for two more months. There is a tunnel with light at the end.

  1. Glad to hear that tunnel is lighting up somewhat. Hard to believe it's been a month already. Physio is tough but a necessary evil. Thinking about you every day!

  2. Hope you have some tasty treats smuggled in. Glad to hear you are being cared for up there, wasn't sure you still had quality healthcare available. Speedy recovery, heck the snow will just have melted when you escape.

  3. I feel bad for you that you must deal with this extremely unfair hardship. Glad you're seeing a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel though. Thanks for undertaking the difficult task of typing out these periodic updates. It's good to know how you are getting on.

The legs are moving... in time the rest will be too!

  7. Congratulations on finding the light at the end of the tunnel. It makes navigating the correct direction easier. Go for it my friend.

  8. Sorry about the infection, hope there's no more setbacks for you. I bet the diet restrictions removed is a mental boost for you, at least I *hope* the hospital has some decent food.

  9. Being able to eat real food is a wonderful blessing. Keep on truckin' and doing the rehab. Slow progress is still progress, blessings to you as you recover.
