St. Michael's Church

County of Ponoka, Alberta. It was scheduled to be demolished over a year ago. It has been abandoned for years.

    The "stepped" facade is unusual. The only other church I've seen using this design is Bethany Lutheran Church near Tilley, Alberta and I believe that it is Danish. But for the life of me, I have never seen a Lutheran church named for Saint Michael the Archangel. Not sure what to make of that.
