Speeder in the Snow

Where I come from, that being southeastern Saskatchewan, these little railway vehicles were known as speeders. Saw this one near Janow Corners, Saskatchewan.

Whenever one went by I instantly thought of "fun." That vision still applies.

  1. In Manitoba when I was a kid, we called them "jiggers." When they returned to the CPR station every day at 5:00 pm from being out on the tracks doing repair work, it was every kid's signal to quit playing outside and go home for supper.
