Have planned a road trip to Montana for a while which has been put off for obvious reasons. Have you visited the badlands near Avonlea, SK?
I saw the badlands around Avonlea many years ago.
Wonder at the origin of the word 'badlands' - something this beautiful shouldn't be termed as being 'bad' (at least IMHO).
I think the "bad" in "badlands" means "rough."
