Stumbled across this somewhere south of Leduc on a dead end road. It is no longer in use and the doors are locked. I did a quick search online and could not find any information on it.
I've roamed most of north America and it is amazing how there are old churches like this just about everywhere. The people are mostly gone now but the churches remain. I'm not a fan of the new churches but the classics are like old familiar friends. I keep meaning to take pictures of the amazing remnants of the eastern Europeans here in Cleveland. They built the most amazing structures to the glory of God and like their ancestors, they used a lot of stone. There, a project for this summer!
Nothing like finding something interesting close to home!
