April in Southern Manitoba

I was driving around southern Manitoba and ran across a couple of interesting old buildings.

I liked this barn near Saint Jean Baptiste. Those vents on the roofline . . .


This collection of buildings was outside Dufrost. The main building looks like it was last used as a garage, but I'm not sure that's what it originally was.




This is the old Canadian Pacific train station in Emerson, Manitoba, just north of the border with the US. I believe CP still owns it but it is derelict.

  1. I remember a time when those train stations were all over Manitoba. Not very many left now.
