Merry Christmas!



Merry Christmas from Lamont County, Alberta.


The photos are of Saint James Russo Greek Catholic Orthodox Church near Mundare, Alberta. A few days ago there was a young couple (Michael and Andrea) clearing the snow from one side of the church with a Bobcat for Christmas service on January 7. Michael was kind enough to let me into the church which seats about fifty people. It's a beauty! He also told me that a young priest has moved here from Ukraine and is taking the services in about ten of the country churches. That's not a story you hear every day.
