Shaftesbury, Alberta August 1, 2015

Marker by the highway to show where a mission and post office once stood. Unmarked graves are behind the signs. In the background is farmland. You can see the outline of a foundation behind the fence.

    Peace River. Wonder if making peace with the locals is how the river got it's name.
