Cue Rocky music

In the physio room (actually there are several here) there is a set of four stairs for those like me that are learning to walk again. I have to use both handrails for stability to get up. I have to lead with my stronger right leg to do it but I can do it. I went up and down four times in one session without a mishap.

  1. Oh, that Rocky. Because of my age, I automatically thought of Rocket J. Squirrel.
Good on your accomplishment, hope continued progress is rapid.

  6. My dad suffered with the legs swelling, and the skin subsequently breaking down and sores (leg ulcers) developing. His was due to having had polio as a child and it destroyed the original neuro pathways. He did recover full use of mobility but in later life suffered the swelling issues. I met a gal trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. 2 sessions about 4 days apart would take the swelling down about 80-90%. It was amazing! It would come back but for awhile his legs would be normal.

  7. I hope someone is bringing you outside food from time to time to keep up your strength to do this!
