Near Eastend, Saskatchewan

Just a drive in the middle of nowhere once again on November 11, 2016. The gravel road I was on followed a railway. I spotted an abandoned property on the other side of the tracks.

The problem with this time of year is the green has gone and everything is so dry and dusty. You would almost think you were in a desert area.

The truck almost looks like you could start it and drive away.

  1. It's surprising that the tires are in such good shape, since they are usually the first to go. Makes me wonder how long in fact it has been sitting there. How was the upholstery?

    1. Wish I could get a look inside. I was taking this photo behind a fence.

  2. My first thought was the same as C. W. Swanson; the tires seem to still be inflated. Now, I've seen vehicles in barns after 20 years with air still in one of the tires, but it's extremely rare. Perhaps the truck was in use until a couple or a few years ago, then was abandoned?
    Love the blog!

    1. It might still be in use. I really wanted to get a closer look.
