Cityscape October 22, 2016

At some point Calgary got too big. You used to be able to zip around the city quickly and easily. The highway shown is Deerfoot Trail. During rush hour it is almost a parking lot. These days you cannot get there from here, it takes too long. You used to be able to park. Now it seems you circle until you pounce on an open space and you have to pay dearly for it. Computer meters are all over. I had a few favourite places I liked to wander through in Calgary. Not any more as it is no longer enjoyable. What was once fun is now a chore.

  1. Reminds me of lots of midwestern cities... I almost moved there back in the 80's... job transfer... things changed and instead ended up in California. Very different life..
