St Michael’s Catholic Church

St Michael’s Catholic Church, also known as Manfred Hungarian Church, was built in 1910. The church steeple was lost to lightning in 1935. The church received a major renovation in 1955. The church was closed in 1975 – visited in June 2019, located in Ponoka County, AB

  2. Rumour had it that this church was going to be demolished. It was still standing when we visited it in Nov 2019. It was locked up so we were not able to see the interior.

    1. The side door was kicked open, that's how I peeked inside. Yes it is supposed to be demolished, sometime soon.

  3. I should get back there again for a winter photo! The front door was open when I was there in the summer.
