Ferry number three in my quest to cross as many Saskatchewan ferries as I could in one day. This was on July 15, 2017.
The ramps could use some maintenance. They are concrete and have a few rough spots. Since I was driving a car I had to be careful not to scrape the bottom due to driving down a concrete ramp then up a ferry ramp. You have to beware of this on either side. I had a brief conversation with the ferry operator. Nice guy. The Fenton Ferry does not receive a lot of traffic. I was the only one there and he had to bring the ferry over from the other side to meet me.
This part of the South Saskatchewan River has some really big rocks in it.
