Some family packed up everything they owned and left what looks like nice little two story house on a hill. They just walked away... It's like that with the cliff dwellings down in the Arizona/New Mexico area, the people there just walked away. Some like the ruins at the National Navajo Monument in Arizona were not there long... If you consider the ~70 years not long to build and abandon what they had.

I would love to know the story behind this - how it came to be abandoned and about the people who lived there. It's a beauty!
