On the other side of a small field visible from the house where I grew up was a lone tree like this one. When I saw this photo I immediately thought of home.
My old friend, and one heck of a photographer, John Sharpe, would travel across the province, no the west, is search of solitary trees to shoot. It was his thing. I'm sure he'd love this one.
