Mount Edith Cavell, Jasper National Park, September 14, 2019.

Parks Canada deserves a lot of praise for what they do. One of the great spots in Jasper National Park is the road up to Mount Edith Cavell. The winding narrow paved road is twelve kilometres long off the old highway with a number of hairpin curves and great views. It is not open in the winter months.

Once you get to the parking lot there are lots of trails and paths. The day was overcast with mist and fog in the air. I spent a short time here. Somehow with my many trips to the park I never managed to visit here before. I will definitely go back and spend the day. If you are ever here take the time to visit.
