Scrip Church, Saskatchewan

Scrip, Saskatchewan shows up on my road map. All I could see when I got here was a few farms in the area and this church.

A plaque on the church says it was Ponass Leke Lutheran Free Church 1933 - 1946 and then Scrip United Church 1956 - 1969. From the look of the plaque it seems that when it became a United Church they added onto the front.

St. Peter’s Parish, Muenster, Saskatchewan

Catholic Church built in 1910. Stopped for a quick shot as I had a long way to go to get to my destination.

"My Girls"

This young bull was being protective of his girls and youngster. As soon as I opened the car door he made his command of the situation known by stepping nearer to me with a stare that said, "Close enough, buddy!"  No argument from me. Ahhh . . . young and in love!

This burgeoning family was sighted near the Grasslands National Park in the ghost town of Masefield, Saskatchewan, about midway between Val Marie and Orkney on Highway 18.
