Fake horse on real prairie
I was out and about on December 31, 2016 exploring the countryside. To me this was a good way to spend the last day of the year. I spotted this by the side of the road and liked how it looked with the snow.

South of Rosalind, Alberta December 26, 2016
Driving on rural roads a few days after a snowstorm in a small car may not be a great idea. My day was free and I had the next day off so if something happened to me I had lots of time to deal with the situation. Besides I had to check out this abandoned place I saw off in the distance.

Day by day by day by day
I am facing 2017 like I face anything else I encounter: Day by day by day by day. Most of 2016 for me was a little . . . different. I have some plans, a few goals, not to mention a mission or two. Some will get realized and others will be derailed. The thing to do is to make some kind of attempt at the things you want to attain. Keep taking steps forward.
For no other reason other than I feel like it I am posting a photo of a steeple that I saw attached to a Lutheran Church north of Donalda, Alberta on December 27, 2016.
