September 5, 2015. I like the look and smell of freshly cut hay. I have taken a few dozen pictures and this is as close as I can get to capturing the look. It looks much better in person.
There is still some harvesting happening. There are some big farms out here. I know of one that is over 40,000 acres and another that is over 20,000 acres.
makes me feel better. I still have hay to finish cutting and I am in Virginia. always seems to be tight supplies

DeleteI can never have enough of it. Even though this is farm country here, I've paid up to $6.00 a bale. Straw is even more expensive.
